Intellectual Property Manager

 Position Description

Manage trademark portfolio for corporate law department, including searching, legal clearance, prosecution, and maintenance for company trademarks, under the supervision of the Chief IP Counsel. Other responsibilities, depending on experience and capabilities of candidate, could include management and negotiation of nondisclosure agreements and other standard business agreements, management of applications to register copyright, administration of invention incentive programs, and management of source code escrow programs.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years experience in intellectual property practice, either in law firm setting or in-house law department. Familiarity with software development is preferred. Familiarity with trademark search and analysis processes is required.

Education

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
