Noro IP is looking for bright individuals, located anywhere, to fill current openings for remote contractors in our Patent Division. We are looking for patent specialists that are experienced in all fields of technology to perform patentability (novelty / prior art), validity, freedom-to-operate and infringement searches.

1. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and professional experience in the following areas:

• Computer Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering 
• Life Science Degree
• Physical Science Degree
• Medical Devices
• Chemical

2. In-depth knowledge of technical literature in the area of subject matter expertise as well as experience using patent searching databases.

3. This is a remote workplace situation (i.e. you work from hom), so candidates must have previous patent searching experience to be considered. We prefer that applicants have 3+ years of previous patent searching experience to be considered. However, we will consider those with less experience as long as they can demonstrate above average skill in their field.

4. Self-starter with the ability to self-manage and meet strict, client-specified deadlines. You will be granted the freedom to set your own work hours, but all work MUST be completed by the specified due date.

5. US Citizenship or appropriate work visas required for this position.
