We are currently searching for Intellectual Property/Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant to add to our dynamic team. Qualified Applicants are encouraged to apply online at

Essential Responsibilities Include: Provide support for two IP attorneys; File patent and trademark applications in USPTO electronic filing (EFS); Prepare documents for all stages of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution including: drafting patent office transmittals, responses to missing parts, Information Disclosure Statements (IDS), assignments, declarations, power of attorney, application data sheets; Maintain a patent docket (CPI) and issue reminders of upcoming due dates.

Necessary Experience:

 Qualifications Include: High School Diploma and Paralegal Certificate and a minimum of 5 years of extensive patent prosecution (U.S. and foreign) experience; Combination of law firm as well as corporate experience is strongly preferred; Experience working directly with IP attorneys; Excellent communication and organizational skills, comfortable with fast-paced environment, have an eye for detail; ability to interface well with all departments of the company and to represent the legal department in a highly professional manner; and team player attitude is a must; Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience. Licensed Notary preferred.
